For a picture, the resolution from the drawing came out nicely!

You got the rise and fall of the ribcage and chest don very nicely.I like the indentations in the back of his scowl, it shows that there is more physical flesh there, it also adds to the fact he is 3D. In fact i like the whole scowl.

The hair and the tail seem on awkward angles, straight out. add a sharp downward pitch to the tail, then gradually curve it to the ground to show the effect of gravity+relaxation. I like the feathered wing, but i don't think it should come down to a single point, i think there should be some width there, but thats just me, that might be a new style of wing.
